• Micro-Vickers and Micro-Knoop Hardness
• Fluoride Release
• Flexibility (strain in compression) of elastomers
• Tear energy of elastomers
• Flowability of elastomers (Shark Fin test)
• Dimensional changes of elastomers

• Gloss of polished surfaces
• Cutting properties of diamond and carbide burs
• Radiopacity
• Temperature rise caused by light-activated polymerization of resins
