Description

e-on Universal Composite is a light-cured, radiopaque composite restorative material. e-on Universal Composite is indicated as a direct restorative for all cavity classes in anterior and posterior teeth, direct composite veneers, splinting, and core build-ups. It can be used with any light-cure bonding system and should be applied in layers of 2 mm or less. It cures in 20 seconds with a curing light with a minimum output of 500 mW/cm² (halogen) or 300 mW/cm² (LED). e-on Universal Composite is packaged in 4 g syringes and 0.25 g unit-dose capsules and is available in five VITA shades: A1, A2, A3, A3.5, and B1. e-on Universal Composite was evaluated by 29 consultants in 659 uses. This universal composite received an 89% clinical rating.

Product Features

e-on Universal Composite was easy to place and it did not stick to instruments. The viscosity helped to form solid contacts and the material was sculptable. Shades blended well with enamel for very good final esthetics. The limited shade availability was adequate for general use but not extensive enough for highly esthetic restorations. All consultants who took radiographs of e-on Universal Composite found it to be radiopaque.

Clinical Tips

  • Shield from ambient light for increased working time.
