Waterline Tip #1

Water quality is a big issue in dentistry.

Waterline Tip 1:

Empty water reservoir (bottle) at the end of each day and clean periodically. Stagnant water is a breeding ground for bacteria. Numerous studies have found that emptying your dental unit water bottle at the end of each work day can make a big difference with the bacterial contamination of your dental unit water. In addition, periodically clean your water bottle with hydrogen peroxide and rinse with clean water. This can help inhibit mold formation in your bottles that are seen from time to time.
