When do you recommend the use of 4th-generation bonding agents?

Light-cured 4^th-generation bonding agents can be used in all direct bonding situations involving light-cured resins. Dual-cured 4^th-generation systems can be used in indirect bonding when dual- or self-cured resins are used. The 4^th-generation bonding agents are especially recommended for bonding composite core materials to teeth with deep dentin.
