Is there an advantage to bonding porcelain veneers with light-cured resin cements rather than with dual-cured products?

There are light-cure only resin cements specifically designed for cementing porcelain veneers. The advantage to cementing without the self-cured components is improved color stability. Studies have shown a color change over time with dual-cured chemistry, which does not occur with light-cured resins. Also, light-cured resins have been shown to possess the highest bond strengths compared to the other curing modes. However, if the porcelain being bonded is more than 2 mm thick, a dual-cured resin cement is necessary.
