Is the large size of the iTero (Cadent, Inc.) handpiece a deterrent?

Surprisingly no. Even though the head of the iTero handpiece is large, it is easy to maneuver around the mouth and obtain good scans, even of 2^nd molars and in the smallest of mouths. Interproximal areas of some patients can be a challenge.
