Bond strengths are reported in a variety of ways and each manufacturer advertises their own bond strengths which can vary from test to test. At THE DENTAL ADVISOR, we independently evaluate bond strengths with our own tests. This allows us to produce consistent, reproducible, unbiased results.
For the highest bond strengths to enamel and dentin, the latest “universal” bonding agents all rate very well. Specifically, Scotchbond Universal (3M ESPE) is at the top of our list.
