What is the best way to repair bisacryl interim restorations?

The bisacryl composite interim restorations can be repaired if the oxygen-inhibited layer is not removed with alcohol or by grinding before the repair. The most convenient way to repair composite interim restorations is with a flowable composite. Biscryl materials cannot be bonded to themselves adequately. One new product, 3M ESPE Protemp Plus Temporization Material (3M ESPE), contains their flowable composite (Filtek Supreme Plus Flowable Restorative) in the introductory kit, which adds to the convenience of the repair.
