Product Features

Bifix SE is a simple cement to use and has versatility for use with all restorative materials. Working time is adequate and the dual-cured capability allows controlled setting time. Consultants liked the narrow intraoral tips that attach to the mixing tips. The translucent shade blends well with enamel and was the shade of choice with ceramic inlays, onlays and translucent ceramic crowns. After seating the restoration and a brief tack cure with the light, excess cement peels off cleanly from the margins. Forty-three percent of consultants reported that Bifix SE was better than their current self-adhesive resin cement, whereas 57% reported it was the same. Forty-eight percent of consultants would switch to Bifix SE and 71% would recommend it.

Clinical Tips

  • Apply a thin layer of cement inside the crown and seat the crown quickly.
  • Make sure excess is removed at gel stage.
