Product Features

The TPH3 kit is complete with everything needed to place and polish restorations. There were many positive comments about shade matching and blending characteristics. Most consultants reported that TPH3 has a very creamy consistency that is somewhat sticky and not very packable. Because of the handling properties, consultants preferred this composite for anterior and small posterior restorations. TPH3 polishes to a very smooth, glossy surface, ideal for esthetic restorations. Thirty-five percent of consultants reported that TPH3 was better than their current composite and 39% reported that it was equivalent. Fifty-six percent would switch to TPH3 and 78% would recommend it.

Clinical Tips

  • Cure a test patch of composite on tooth without bonding agent to confirm the shade.

  • Contours better with the moist bonding agent brush rather than an instrument.
