Description

3M ESPE Position Penta Quick is a fast-setting, medium-viscosity, addition silicone impression material designed for clinical applications where alginate would be used. The material is packaged for use with the Pentamix 2 and was evaluated using the 3M ESPE Directed Flow Impression Tray. Position Penta Quick has a working time (from start of mix) of 1:10 and a set time (from start of mix) of 2:40. Waiting 30 minutes to pour the impression in stone is necessary. The material is available as an Introductory Kit containing one, 300-ml of base; one, 60-ml of catalyst; six 3M ESPE Directed Flow Impression Trays; and a Penta cartridge. Mixing tips are available separately in packages of 50. Position Penta Quick was evaluated by 25 consultants in making over 225 impressions. This product received a 94% clinical rating.
